Ashleigh grew up as an only child to wealthy pureblood parents. Her mother, battling her own issues, was always very strict and often times cruel; only making brief appearances when Ashleigh's grades weren't up to par. Though school, Ashleigh was normally quiet, only opening up to a handful of close friends. She was very focused on her work, and trying to please a mother that would never be pleased, until her seventh year at school. During her last year, something inside of her just... snapped. She tried to develop the 'I don't give a shit' attitude but, in all honestly, that lasted about a week and she was back to her studying ways.

If you ask her, she'll tell you that the best thing about her final year in Hogwarts was Edward McMillan, her boyfriend. They've only been dating about 8 months but she's head over heels in love. As soon as they left school, they moved in together... a couple of weeks after that, he proposed. There's no use in telling her that she's moving too fast - she wont listen. Ashleigh is blindly in love and only sees Ed in her future.

When she's not focusing 100% of her attention on her boyfriend fiancée, she's hoping to get a job at the Ministry. Though she's never been very career focused, she saw several pamphlets at the Hogwarts Career Fair and the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad interested her more than any of the others.

To be perfectly honest, she's not been very practical in her thinking. As of right now, she has no back up plan. Ed will get into Auror Training, she'll get a job at the Ministry and they'll live happily ever after.

Other than that, Ashleigh hopes to get to know her new found little sister (even if she doesn't, exactly, approve of her exsistance).

Ashleigh is a Capricorn. While not the most common sign for Gryffindors to be born under, the combination of Gryffindor aims with Capricorn traits results in wizards who are exceptionally well balanced. For once, here are Gryffindors who will not go charging off on quests without first making thorough preparations and arranging for backup. They are resourceful, well grounded, and self confident, hard workers, and extremely reliable. You can always trust a Gryffindor Capricorn's word; they will not only mean it when they say they will do something, they will follow through successfully. House Prefects often come from this sign, because they are responsible, good students, and natural leaders. What many people forget about the Capricorn is that although they are part goat, they are also part mermaid. That mermaid half represents all the fanciful dreams and lofty ambitions that the quiet Capricorn often hides beneath an unassuming surface.
